We will forever hold Heather Hodges, Cassidy Arend, Erin Hunt and Klancy Johnson as members of the MPFO family!
It's tough to put into words how much we will miss each of these titleholders. Below are words from Jan Mitchell about what she will personally miss about each girl
and our entire board feels the same way!
Heather Hodges, Miss Frisco 2007:
"What we will miss the most is her laugh. Who would know that she is a crazy girl who loves to laugh? We will also miss her perspective on life.
She's much too hard on herself, but who can keep from admiring her diligence to be the best she can be? She's a kitten and a lion all at the same time.
Her sweet heart and her fierce determination is what makes her unique.
Erin Hunt, Miss Frisco's Outstanding Teen 2007:
“What we will miss most about Erin is her determination. She not only has the willingness to do whatever is asked of her, but also the determination to give it her all.
She's bright, articulate, talented and a joy to be around. Spending two years with her has been a true blessing that we thank God for.
Not only do we admire her professionally, but she absolutely captured our hearts as well.”
Cassidy Arend, Miss Plano 2007:
“What we will miss the most about Cassidy is. her candor. Cassidy has a 100 year old soul in that 18 year old body!
She has opinions and views on things that most young women don't even think about. She also has that crazy sense of humor that is so fun.
Cassidy has taught us a lot and we appreciate that. Her dedication is far beyond what you would expect in a young woman her age.”
Klancy Johnson, Miss Plano's Outstanding Teen 2007:
“What we will miss the most about Klancy is her humor. We could just sit and listen to her for a few minutes and we'll be laughing.
When we are with her our day is brighter. Her accent is precious and her personality makes you want to spend time with her.
As fun as she is, she is still so mature in her views and outlook on life. She is multi-talented and very smart, and is a "dream titleholder" that any director would want.“
Our Miss Plano Frisco titleholders do not just win a title and walk away – they stay with us as members of our family.
We adopt them and their families for life. We challenge them, encourage them, train them, laugh with them and help them grow.
But more than anything they challenge us, change us, encourage us, motivate us and give us reason to keep giving to this amazing organization.
Without young women like Heather, Cassidy, Erin and Klancy being a volunteer would be much less rewarding.
We look forward to the future and are anxious to know who will carry on these titles for next year.
We will forever look back on this year and remember these amazing young women who changed our lives!
We love you dearly Ladies and pray God's blessing be with you as you move forward to new adventures.
