I just wanted all the girls that are competing for Teen Plano or Frisco to understand that they will have the BEST support system that they could ever imagine!!!!!! All you have to do is give your all and you will receive more than you could imagine!!!! I want to thank Miss Jan and ALL her board for giving all of us the opportunity for our DREAM!!!! All of you will never know what you provide for the girls that wish to be the next Teen Miss Texas. I want to wish everyone that is entered in the MPFO pageant the very best of LUCK!  We are looking for our next Little Miss & Teen Titleholders for Plano & Frisco.

Miss America training will be awarded to age appropriate level winners. Our younger winners will also participate in some of the official local Miss America activities as well.

Ultimately our goal is to mentor all of our winners to help them gain increased confidence and strengthen their poise.

Hey!

Rush ended last Wednesday(Aug 27th) and Kappa cleaned up! We had 71 girls pref us first, which is unheard of and astronomically high! All the girls we got are beautiful, fun, smart, and totally adorable. The rush team and I could not be happier! Here are some pics from Bid Day and Skit Night–our skit was "Hairspray" and I played Tracy Turnblad…SANS the fat suit! Haha! Oh and we are holding a broom in the Bid Day pictures to signify that we "swept" in case you were wondering

Miss Texas week can overwhelm one with stress

Worrying about talent, interview, fitness, dress

Trying to stay focused when on stage

Without staring at the cute judge, wondering his age

Being Teen Texas takes drive and commitment

It takes a girl who has a good heart and much ambition

For this job, Sydney’s perfect… its basic pageant theology

For she possesses all of these qualities

Honestly… I didn’t see her once without a smile on her face

And she always carried herself with such poise and grace

She is a unique girl, one of a kind

Services have been set for Thursday July 24th at 11am at the Will Rogers Complex.  It is our understanding that there will be a visitation the night before.  Expect this to be a large event as he was very involved with the City of Ft. Worth and Miss Texas for many years.

On the MIss Texas board they are talking about setting up a fund to create an ongoing scholarship in his name, if you would like to contribute please contact the Miss Texas Organization for more information.
